Various Skin Cancers and Its Symptoms
Skin cancer is one of the most common forms of human cancer. It is also the most common diagnosed types of cancer. This is also well known as skin neoplasia. It is revealed that almost 1 million of people are affected by skin cancer annually. Definitely the annual rates of all forms of skin cancer are increasing each year representing a growing public concern. Not only that, it has also estimated that almost half of Americans who live to 65 will develop skin cancer at least once.
Basically the most common warning sign of skin cancer is a change in the appearance of the skin. Such as the new growth or a sore that will not heal. The term Skin cancer refers to three different conditions. These are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. Apart from that the most common forms of skin cancer are the basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Experts say these two are also referred to as non-melanoma skin cancer. Generally melanoma is one of the most serious forms of skin cancer because it spreads throughout the body very fast.
There are some skin cancer symptoms which are really harmful for human body. Sometimes it includes crabs and some changes in the skin which doesn’t heal or ulcers in the skin discoloration of skin and visible changes in previously existing moles. Generally, basal carcinoma spreads smooth, pearly bump on the skin of the skin, of the head, neck or shoulders is visible sometimes crusting and bleeding in the center of the tumor also develops. In case of Squamous cell carcinoma a thick patch develops red in color. Not only that ulcers and bleeding can also develop. Apart from that the melanomas have brown of black color lesions. The sign of malignant melanoma include a change in size color or elevation in the pre-existing mole.
